When Stress Gets Too Much

Stress is normal in everyday life and can be useful, however, too much stress has a negative effect on the mind and body.
What is negative stress
Stress becomes negative (“distress”) when a person faces continuous challenges without relief or relaxation between challenges. As a result, the person becomes overworked and stress-related tension builds. This can result in behavioural changes, irritability, anger, tension headaches or stiff neck. change in appetite or sleep disturbance.
There may be many things going on at the same times, demands from work, family etc  It is beneficial to ensure a person takes a break from the stress.  Even 10 minutes relaxation has a positive impact on the mind and body.
