I really enjoy helping people through a warm relational approach and guide them to understand themselves better and then show them the tools that can help facilitate them to continue in a more positive way on their journey through life. I resonate highly with
the effect of trauma on the nervous system and body and have recently began to implement breath work and emotional regulation tools to help calm the mind and body. I am a qualified yoga and meditation instructor as I find that powerful feelings and emotions are felt and stored within the body and need to be released in order to heal. Together with talking therapy, great and fast results are seen.
Difficult relationships with others and challenging traumatic events have a huge impact on our mental and physical health. Often we deal with these by distracting ourselves and numbing these uncomfortable feelings. I help clients process and work through these feelings in a safe and nurturing environment. I can help you to step out of these behaviours and become more of your authentic happier self again.
I have vast experience in supporting clients with their relationship with food, body image and exercise especially. Many of us cope with difficult feelings and relationships by punishing our bodies, perhaps through controlling our food and exercise habits.
