Paul is a BACP registered and UKCP accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor, with over 6 years of experience working with adults with a wide variety of presenting problems.
Paul started his training at The Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London and completed his training at Northern Guild for Psychotherapy in 2014. As well as therapy, he works as a Personal Trainer, helping people create healthier habits.
Paul finds that physical wellbeing and mental health are connected and his work with fitness clients has not only helped them to achieve physical results – but in most cases, clients experienced a lift in mood and self esteem.

How Can Paul Help?
Paul works with a wide variety of presenting problems. These include behaviour change, lack of motivation, anxiety, depression, addictions and relationship problems.
He uses as integrative approach to find the appropriate treatment for his clients.
He has worked in both private practice, GP surgeries and with Newcastle City Council. He created the counselling service at Battle Hill Health Centre, and before this many in the community did not have access or the means for therapy.
Doctors can now patients to a counsellor to coincide with their medical treatment.
