Limiting Beliefs Part 4 – I am Unstoppable

I AM UNSTOPPABLE –

What would happen if you had this belief โ“

Just stop and think for a moment, how would having this belief affect you in life?

๐Ÿค” What would you really do in life?

๐Ÿค” Who would you really be?

๐Ÿค” How would this belief propel you forward?

๐Ÿค” What work/career would you choose?

๐Ÿค” What would you be doing differently in life?

๐Ÿค” How much would you be earning

Do you think if you had this belief you would:

โŽ stay stuck

โŽ doubt yourself

โŽ feel fear when you want to do something different

This is just an example of beliefs that support us vs beliefs that don’t. Showing the impact of beliefs on our lives, Will you take the time to notice or examine your beliefs?

Think of beliefs as a tabletop and all the evidence you collect to support that belief are the legs of the table. Let’s say you have the belief you can’t lose weight (tabletop)- what evidence (table legs) do you have to support that? you see it on the scales, you see it in the mirror, you see it in your size of clothesย  and you feel it when you get dressed

Ask yourself are these things really true? of course, you say I look in the mirror and I see the weight, I see it in the mirror, of course, this is my reality

What evidence do you have that will knock the table legs away?

โœ… I’ve lost weight before

โœ… I still have smaller size clothing in my wardrobe

โœ… I have photographs of when I was slim

The three above knock away three of the table legs and start to shake the belief. So you start to lose weight and look for more evidence to knock the legs away from the tabletop that says you can’t lose weight. We suggest keeping a log of your negative thoughts and self-talk. Write at least 4 things that support each belief (table legs) then look at the evidence against this belief which means you can knock at least some of the table legs away so that the belief starts to look shaky. Give it a go, you might be surprised at how many beliefs you can shake ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
